Massimago: a touch of novelty in Valpolicella.

"Since started producing wines under the name of the ancient Cru Massimago, we had the main goal to reflect our territory in the bottle. Our limestone - clay hilly estate is surrounded by nature which expresses itself in such various ways: soil which conveys elegance and acidity, winds that hit our ripening grapes and generate freshness and fruit balance, all combined in a unique location with the best exposition, where our grapes receive the best maturation.
Thanks to these conditions, in Massimago we can produce expressive wines, potent and elegant, where fruitiness (ripe cherry, red berries) spicyness (black, white pepper) and herbal (mint, thyme), reveal themselves in a complex combination".

Amarone della Valpolicella Docg

“Only the healthiest and richer bunches, from the highest vinyards of Massimago estate. Only traditional native grapes of Valpolicella.
We pick the best, after a long face to face between man and nature.
Every harvest is a challenge with nature, a challenge with ourselves, to give our best, to reach the best.
The best combination is…to share this wine with someone you love”.

Valpolicella Superiore Doc Profasio

“For the first time the Valpolicella Superiore changes its name
and acquires its own identity”.
Our idea of Valpolicella Superiore is a wine very much related to his big brother Amarone, but still with his strong personality.
Vertical, proud of his herbal and balsamic nose. Spicy and intense, but also elegant and austere.
Herbs, maquis and ripe strawberry.
The perfect combination should be… wine braised pork or beef,
 pepper beef filet.”

Magò Sparkling Rosè Corvina Veronese

“Convinced that we could add sparkle to the unique aroma
of the Corvina grape, we took up the challenge of 2012.
That was the perfect year thanks to the huge drought conditions, ideal for balanced acidity. The perfect time to begin.
After years since then, Magò grows up in popularity and now
becomes our favourite companion for Italian aperitives, a chic lunch or a romantic dinner. Magò is not simply a project, but a dream come true.
The perfect combination should be…with fried zucchini flowers,
freshly picked from the garden.”

Amarone della Valpolicella Docg Conte Gastone

“A democratic Amarone?
There’s who says so and who doesn’t.
Every year an artist interprets our everyday life portraying characters in search of an author.
Wine is creativity, free your imagination and feel better.
Traces of you are in every bottle.”

Valpolicella Doc

“The Valpolicella reflects the authentic expression of the land from which it comes from.
I like thinking about the spontaneity of a product which shows itself differently every year.
This year reminds you of crunchy cherries, aromatic herbs and white pepper.
The perfect combination should be… a mature Monte Veronese or beef tartar.”

Zurlie (Bottle re-fermented Corvina)

A Sur-lie reminds us ancient vinifications styles.
When wines used to be just a little less perfect,
and imperfections were probably their greatest qualities.
Not just a fragrant and fresh wine, easy to pair, but also
an easy-going wine concept. A new way to introduce and
approach a unique territory.
