New York Grapes

The New York wine industry is one of the most diverse in the entire wine world. We want to help our wineries, retailers, wholesalers, and potential customers inderstand a bit more about the riches we have to share and so we're creating a varietal series called "New York's Great Grapes".

The first phase of this program will be shelf talkers (2 types), case cards, price cards, and table tents for retailers and restauranteurs to help their customers find just the right wine to fit their needs. Click on the varieous documents below to view the promotional material/information sheets we've created, and keep watching for more as we're able to develop them.

About us

Company details

The New York grape, grape juice and wine industry generates more than $4.8 billion in economic benefits annually for New York State. 1,631 family vineyards... over 400 wineries... 175,000,000 bottles of wine... $408 million in state and local taxes - these are just a few of the many statistics available in this section.

The "What's in a Bottle of Wine?"  poster summarizes it all, but other resources include map showing the number of wineries in various New York counties.

The grape and wine industry is a collection of small family businesses which, appropriately, do not share proprietary data, so there is some information which is simply not available. But here we offer you the latest and most detailed information that we have.
