Novalia - Villa Crespia

23 vineyards located in the 6 landscapes (Vocational Units) which represent the diversity of
Franciacorta according to the zoning study of the early 90’s by the University of Milan. This is
the heritage of Villa Crespia: 6 lands, 6 wines. Vineyards vinified separately and then assem-
bled according to their origin. In the cellar, vintages are aged in stainless steel and wood
tanks, and then selected and valorized in the final assembly.
Villa Crespia dedicates to
each vocational unit a different Franciacorta, in order to transform into wine the sensory
emotions that comes from each landscape.
THE VINEYARDS
The vineyards of Novalia are called Bettolino, Martore, Santo Stefano, Casina, Torbiere. They
lie on soils of glacial and fluvial origin. Clay loam soils, with frequent presence of gravely
sediments. The climate is continental.
TASTING NOTES
Novalia Villa Crespia is a Franciacorta Brut whose acidity and freshness come from green
fruit scents perfectly blend with floral hints of rose, lime, plant smells and yeast. Novalia is a
Franciacorta that is greatly appreciated for its immediate personality and simplicity. It is
characterised by a specific nature caused by the soils where its Chardonnay grapes grown.
It is a perfect aperitif, and blends harmoniously with sea fish crudités and vegetables
- based dishes.

Miolo - Villa Crespia

23 vineyards located in the 6 landscapes (Vocational Units) which represent the diversity of
Franciacorta according to the zoning study of the early 90’s by the University of Milan. This is
the heritage of Villa Crespia: 6 lands, 6 wines. Vineyards vinified separately and then assem-
bled according to their origin. In the cellar, vintages are aged in stainless steel and wood

Villa Crespia dedicates to
each vocational unit a different Franciacorta, in order to transform into wine the sensory
emotions that comes from each landscape.
THE VINEYARDS
The vineyard of Miolo is called San Lorenzo, and it lies on a soil of alluvial origin. It is charac-
terized by deep, moderately clayey soil with good water retention. The climate is continen-
tal.
TASTING NOTES
Miolo Villa Crespia is born in a unique vineyard, characterised by clay soils where Chardon-
nay grapes ripe more slowly. It is a different Brut Franciacorta because of its more intense
floral and fruity notes which soften both its acidity and structure. The spicy and vegetable
notes give way to the sweet ones and the result is an “euphoric” Franciacorta which goes
with creamy appetizers, vegetables mousse, dry desserts and fruit cakes

About us

Company details

In the beginning it was just ideas, than thoughts that became reality, never static, always moving, devoted to the soil once and now symbiotic. It is nice and useful to walk streets of dreams: a family that falls in love with wine and a researcher with his ideas, ready to be turned into a productive reality. Muratori family enriches itself with young people from new generations who fell in love with soil, grape, and everything extraordinary that can be done with it. Together with Francesco Iacono and his dream of life. The idea is extremely simple, almost banal: putting together financial strengths and technical ones, it is possible to make a project born from nothing. We call it Arcipelago Muratori, an idea able to emphasize the concept of terroir, the expression of the interactive relationship among vineyards, environment and the vine grower.
