red wine super tuscan Sentimento

The wine-making process used to obtain this particular wine involves the use of hand-picked, fully ripe 80% Sangiovese of Tuscany with 15% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 5% Syrah grapes, which are selected with the utmost care, then left to ferment into wine for long periods along with extensive soaking of their skins.
Here we have a wine of excellent body; it is first left to mature for 18 months in little French oak kegs and then in bottles, allowing it to acquire a truly exceptional smoothness and harmony in its blend of taste. It is a dark, ruby red wine, with the slightest of garnet-coloured reflections; its bouquet is intense and composite, and extremely refined with predominant spicy notes; the taste of this wine is dry, warm, austere, elegant and harmonious, which is rounded off by a midly lingering and long-lasting aftertaste of toasted almonds and berry fruits. This wine will make the finest of impression at the most elegant and demanding of dining tables, as an accompaniment to roasts of red meat, to game and to matured cheeses. To be drunk at a temperature of 20° C.

Company details

Chianti Trambusti: Tradition and Progress
Chianti Trambusti is produced in a context of great viniculture. The winery's cutting-edge equipment goes toward the production, labeling and bottling of prized wines. The Florentine company carefully selects the best wines in Tuscany, which are then bottled and delivered to loyal consumers in Italy and abroad.
Over time the business grew and in 1939 the small store in Greve moved to the little town of Impruneta, near Florence where the company stayed throughout World War Two. After the war, the cellars became two, with one opening in Florence: they were small but well equipped to bottle and age wine in barrels.

In 1956 the company moved to Via Pistoiese, where it remains today.  Orlando Trambusti, founder of the company and fomenter of its steady growth, died in 1982. From that moment his son Giovanni took the reins of Chianti Trambusti. Giovanni continued following the guidelines set down by his enterprising father - selecting with care and skill the best wines in Tuscany, to be bottled and delivered to loyal consumers in Italy and abroad.

Under Giovanni's leadership, the company began exporting wine to foreign markets - first and foremost to the United States, then the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. Eventually Giovanni was supported by the entry into the company of his children. Giacomo works as sales manager, Veronica as the head of the administrative office, and Francesco as production manager.

Thanks also to their great contribution to the company, today Chianti Trambusti is a great wine-making estate -- with modern and functional equipment to produce and bottle wines of impeccable qualifications and value. The company is in constant growth and has an eye on the new Asian market.
