NAPA VALLEY & NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

The Artezin winery of Napa California specializes in wine from the heritage grapes Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Carignan. Each of these wines is hand-crafted, with a light touch, allowing them to express their place of origin and true varietal characteristics.

Under Winemaker Randle Johnson, the Artezin winery has brought together and nourished growers, many of whom are multigenerational farmers who cultivate old, head-pruned, non-irrigated vines. These growers span three prominent regions of California: Mendocino, Sonoma and Amador.

CALCHAQUI VALLEY — ARGENTINA

In a quest to find the source of an exceptional Malbec that he had at a dinner in a small bodega in Salta, Donald Hess searched for three years to find this winery in Argentina's Salta Province. Now home to Bodega and Estancia Colomé, this winery was founded in 1831. Its vineyards, at 6,000 to 10,000 feet above sea level, include vines that are 160 years old.

Completely renovated and revitalized by Donald Hess, Bodega Colomé focuses on Argentina's two traditional varietals, Malbec and Torrontes, producing wines that receive international accolades. The age of the vines, biodynamic practices, and altitude combine to create these distinctive, bold and intense wines that speak of their origin.

MOUNT VEEDER — NAPA VALLEY — CALIFORNIA

As the first of the Hess Family Wine Estates wineries, The Hess Collection Winery was founded by Donald Hess over a quarter century ago. True to his vision of what a New World wine should be, Mr. Hess established his winery on the volcanic slopes of Mount Veeder in the Napa Valley and defined a whole new approach to winemaking.

Along with its mountain vineyards, the winery has won acclaim for its other estate vineyards in the northeast and southern ends of the Napa Valley and has been recognised for its successful relationships with family-owned growers who represent some of the finest appellations in California.

The Hess Collection Winery produces three tiers of wines and has distinguished itself as a premium producer of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
