Production zone: vineyards in the area of Serralunga d`Alba - Piedmont. The Nebbiolo grape is grown
here about 60km away from Cuneo at an altitude of 414m above sea level. Only the grapes of 11
villages around the town of Barolo are allowed to be used for the wine of this name.
Vintage period: middle of October
Fermentation: at a controlled temperature of 25°C. The must fermentation takes 10 days an is pumped
over twice a day. Only after the malolactic fermentation the wine is filled into barrels of 30 HL.
Aging: 3 years in oak barrels, 8 months in bottle.
Colour: light red with garnet red reflections
Bouquet: rich, with notes of wood berries, vanilla and chocolate
Flavour: full-bodied, harmonious and elegant, brilliant finish
Pairing: best enjoyed with roast meat, game and truffle dishes
Tasting Temperature: 18-20°C, decantation
