Vallformosa is a family-run wine cellar established in Vilobí del Penedès (Barcelona) since 1865. It makes wines and cavas under the ‘Cava’, ‘Penedès’ and ‘Catalunya’ designation of origins.
The Vallformosa Group produces its own brands, such as Vallformosa Cava, Domènech.Vidal, Gran Barón and Mistinguett, including others. Its unique model stands out due to high levels of product quality control, from the vineyard to the bottle.
Vallformosa also makes 100% of the grape must used for all its products. The quality and management model, based on innovation and flexibility, along with a fast response time to market needs, has enabled Vallformosa to export its products to more than 50 countries worldwide. Over 80% of its production is currently exported.
El Penedès was the starting point, where in 1865 the family that founded Vallformosa started to work the land to get the best possible fruits. Over these 150 years, Vallformosa has remained passionate for the land and wine. Vallformosa produces around 13 million bottles a year, of which over 80% are cava. These figures make Vallformosa the world’s fourth largest cava producer.
