Product category: Alcohol-free wines and spirits

At last, wine totally without alcohol can now taste just like the original wine—but missing only the alcohol.

That’s because of eighteen months of intensive research work by ConeTech’s team of six winemakers. They started by analyzing just why the removal of alcohol has traditionally always meant loss of the wine’s flavor, balance, structure, and mouthfeel.

Then they applied their enological skills to the creation of premium quality red and white wines that did not suffer loss of their authenticity when alcohol was gently removed by ConeTech’s unique combination of very low temperature separation technologies.

In an early success, ConeTech’s skills and specialized techniques made a vital contribution to the best de-alcoholized wine the world had yet seen—the Miguel Torres brand NATUREO, which was launched a few years ago to widespread acclaim at 0.5% alcohol.

Now ConeTech’s enology team has gone a small but vital step further, by helping make wines with no alcohol at all—meaning 0.05% alcohol or lower, so they even qualify as ‘halal’ products.

About us

Company details

In 1991, ConeTech pioneered a process which has, for many hundreds of winemakers, become a standard winemaking tool. Introducing first the Spinning Cone Column and more recently complementary technologies, ConeTech made possible the removal of excessive alcohol without the slightest loss of aroma or flavor — something no other company can claim.

Today, ConeTech operates in four of the key wine growing regions including California, Chile, Spain, and South Africa. ConeTech owns eleven Spinning Cone Columns and continues to expand into new regions and new technologies, as the mitigation of alcohol in wine gathers importance and as recent breakthroughs have contributed to a revolutionary new service to global SPIRITS producers. Further distinguishing ConeTech from anyone else in its field, is the employment of six dedicated winemakers — assuring our ability to engage totally with our clients and their objectives.
