She has a marked preference for the Iberian Peninsula. Bärbel Bartels thinks that Spanish wines become increasingly popular and that Portuguese wines will follow the same trend soon. That is why the speciality retailer walks through hall 6 in search for the best wines. Each year she returns to ProWein and this year she discovered something special apart from Spain and Portugal: „I found a German wine-grower that convinced me with a superb Riesling.“
