Wine in Moderation
ProWein proves it - wine is healthy as long as one knows how to enjoy it properly: Not too much of it at once and best accompanied by good cuisine. The European programme "Wine in Moderation, Art de Vivre” wants to prevent alcohol misuse and renders moderate wine consumption to be fashionable. Those who wish to protect the environment and natural resources get their chance by buying one of the high-quality wines from eco-friendly sustainable wineries.

At ProWein in Duesseldorf he is currently launching his latest brand of sparkling wine, a Brut de Loire. It is a true world premiere, something very different from the habitual red carpets.
Varietals from South Africa
Michael Kriess talks to the 'Wines of South Africa' CEO, Sue Birch, about the 350 years old tradition of wine growing in South Africa. The diversity of micro climates and soils favours the viniculture and the great variety of grapes and aromas. The South African Stand also pormotes the Soccer World Cup in 2010 with a promotion team.

Wine from Northern Vineyards
Rhine or Moselle – these two names immediately spring to mind when thinking about viniculture in Germany. However, viniculture is well feasible in the far northern metropolis of Hamburg as well, as has been the case for some time now on a small vineyard right next to the world-famous port of the city.

Vintage Cocktails: retro-design drinks
Meininger Publishing's FIZZZ Lounge travels historical paths this year. Un-der the motto "Vintage Cocktails", classic drinks of past decades are presented. Bartender legend Bill Deck and his son, David, from Pusser's in Munich, mix cocktails from the old days, as well as their contemporary interpretations. Bill Deck is considered a trailblazer of the classic American bar in Germany. He brought the idea to Germany more than 30 years ago and opened Pusser's in Munich. Andy Warhol was a guest here and enjoyed "old school mixing" by Bill Deck—classic, conservative, classy and elegant.
Daily presenations at 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm.
