The international wine business is looking increasingly to organic cultivation and sustainability. In March trade visitors to the leading wines and spirits fair ProWein 2012 will be able to enjoy a comprehensive market overview of topical “green” wines.

    It was for us a profound shock to learn of Mr Gerd Adolph’s death late December last year.

    Mr Gerd Adolph was an extraordinary person. His friendly way with people as well as his outstanding sense of commitment left a deep impression on all those who had the privilege of working with him. For us at ProWein he was both a creative and reliable partner. As a member of the fair’s advisory board he actively contributed to the development of ProWein since its inception in 1994. At all times he used his comprehensive expertise and outstanding commitment to advance the conceptual development of this fair. He remained committed to ProWein even after ending his work on the advisory board, supporting the project team in both word and deed.

    We are deeply indebted to Mr Gerd Adolph and shall miss him very much. We would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family.
