Terre di Macerato

When a wine artisan lands at Prowein

Terre di Macerato will be at Prowein from March 13th to March 15th to present the new 2015 vintage to anyone looking for a quality wine, produced in small quantities. A wine that tells a story.
Terre di Macerato, a small 3 hectars winery in the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, center Italy, produces 10.000 bottles of Sangiovese of two types: Rhod, aged in steel and Audace, evolved 18 months in french barrels.
You will have the opportunity to taste a preview of Rhod 2015, the result of a very good vintage, and Audace 2012.
The story is that of Franco, a wine artisan whose philosophic assumption is that quality is created in the vineyard: perfect environment, careful ground management, defense strategies that respect the biological directives, constant attention to the method and timing of interventions to limit copper and sulfur, no pesticides and herbicides. Biodiversity is crucial in order to produce unique wines with character and that respect the territory of origin and the vintages.
