Azienda Agraria Moretti Omero is glad to comunicate that our Sagrantino di Montefalco D.O.C.G. has been recognised as a "Slow Wine" in the Slow Wine Guide 2013.
Azienda Agraria Moretti Omero has also been nominated by Slow Wine as one of the "Best Value" winemakers in Italy.
We have always tried to offer fine, traditionally-made but inexpensive wines, so our Sagrantino is very unique but also not expensive.
Recently a cantina from Montefalco: Arnaldo Caprai, was nominated “European Winery of The Year 2012” by Wine Enthusiast magazine “He helped revive Umbria’s indigenous grapes, bringing the wine region into the international spotlight for its production of Sagrantino di Montefalco.” Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG is a full bodied tannic red, it's made only using Sagrantino grapes and recently it becomes to be a well-known wine all over the world.
Wine Enthusiast also has rated Moretti Omero 2005 Sagrantino with 91 points and Moretti Omero 2007 Montefalco Rosso with 90 points.
