Rosemount - A dedication to winemaking quality, innovation and style

Since 1974 Rosemount is one of the leading wineries in Australia. Numerous international awards bear witness: the Rosemount wines not only reflect the unique climate conditions of the country but are also an expression of an uncompromising commitment to quality, innovative spirit and class.

After his career in the coffee industry Bob Oatley looked for a new challenge and founded Rosemount Estate at the now world-famous Hunter Valley in 1969. His firm belief that quality is always appreciated and will prevail, paid off soon and the vineyards of the Rosemount Estate gained in size and diversity. The extensive selection of Rosemount Estate includes not only high quality wines with excellent cost/performance ratio but also the cult wines, for lovers of very special wines. For this reason Bob Oatley was awarded the Graham Gregory Trophy for 'Significant contribution to the Wine Industry of New South Wales' in 1992.

The diamond-shaped Diamond Label, Rosemount’s distinctive trademark has become a quality seal for wine lovers around the world. In 2006 Rosemount opened a new chapter in its history and confirmed the unconditional commitment to quality and class of the original trust Rosemount wine style, while the vineyard presented the revolutionary features bottles once again as a highly innovative, world-class trendsetter.

Even the coat of arms reflects the tradition and history of the Rosemount Estate. The crown symbolizes the Hunter Valley to honor the place where it all began. The numerous stud farms in the area and the passion of the Oatley family for horse racing are reflected by the application of the horse. The magnificent rose garden, which is framed the entrance to the Rosemount Estate cellar, is represented by a single rose on the emblem, while the grapes stand as a symbol of wine and the long successful history of the winery.
