The Georgian Wine Association is pleased to invite you to taste unique Georgian Wine at stand 6B52. With the richest grape biodiversity in the world, including 525 varieties , Georgia, the “cradle of wine”, has a 8,000 year-old viticulture tradition. In 2013, Georgian wines won numerous awards, among others at the Decanter Wine Awards, the International Wine & Spirit Competition or the “Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago“ German sommelier trainer Martin Darting in 2012 discovered in Georgia a “surprising sensory diversity” and declared that, especially for Western European wine experts, some of the Georgian wines were “without a doubt extravagant and enchantingly new.”
