*Established in 1859* by the cooper-craftsman Jean-Edouard Dupard, Domaine Jean Chartron has been governed
by *five generations* concerned with the development and prosperity of the prestigious vineyards.
Domaine Jean Chartron owns *14 hectares *of vineyards in *Puligny-Montrachet* and the *neighbouring villages* (Chassagne-Montrachet, St Aubin, Meursault …) the majority being *premier and grand Crus*, so has naturally specialized in the vinification and ageing for great burgundy white wines.
The work in the vineyards and winemaking follow an *organic process*.
From the pressing of the grapes to bottling of the *19 different appellations*, Domaine Jean Chartron works with the *greatest respect to tradition*.
