The collective stand of Châteauneuf-du-Pape will gather 10 wine-estates: Domaine Juliette Avril, Domaine de Nalys, Cellier des Princes, Brotte, Domaine Albin Jacumin, Domaine Tour Saint-Michel, Domaine de Beaurenard, Domaine du Grand Tinel, Château Gigognan, Domaine La Millière. A table displaying the wines from the 10 estates will be available for tasting.
With a wide vineyard of 3 200 hectares, Châteauneuf-du-Pape produce both red (94%) and white (6%) wine, the majority of them are exported abroad (70%). The AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape was recognised one of the first AOC in France, which is the system of classification of wines still in use today. Red are made with Grenache essentially, but also Syrah, Mourvèdre, Counoise: in total wine-makers can blend 13 grape varieties into the wines (according to the specifications of the AOC).
