One of the biggest wine events of the year is just around the corner and Accolade Wines will be there in full force.
This is the second year that the company will be exhibiting there as Accolade Wines. As a global wine company with some of the world’s best-known brands sold in over 80 countries, Accolade will be in a new hall this year (given the increased show capacity at Messe-Dusseldorf) and will be showcasing the full and diverse range of its portfolio in Hall 2 at Stand A04.
Helping underline Accolade Wines position as one of the leading winemaking producers will be six of the business’s top winemakers and brand ambassadors – including a first ever visit from Ondine Chattan, winemaker of newly acquired Geyser Peak label from Alexander Valley, California. She will be on hand to unveil an exciting new development for the Geyser Peak range which has been specifically designed for the EU and UK markets. One to one interviews and sneak peek preview tastings of the new varietal range will be available by special appointment on the stand.
Other winemakers attending will be Ben Jordaan, chief South African winemaker for the UK’s number one South African wine brand, Kumala, as well as representatives from the Conststellation Brands portfolio who include; the legendary wife of California Winemaker Robert Mondavi, Mrs. Margrit Biever Mondavi, Director of Wine Education at Robert Mondavi Winery, Mark de Vere MW, Co-founder of Ravenswood Winery, Joel Peterson and Market Development Manager, Tom Maling, who represents the portfolio of New Zealand wines, including Nobilo and Kim Crawford.
