We have the honour of announcing that our bodega was awarded 5 medals at the prestigious "Catavinum World Wine&Spirits Competition 2013". This competition was organized by a specialized wine website Catavinum and is held annually in Vitoria, a city in the North of Spain. 2057 wines from all over the world were tasted during the competition.
The competition is mostly aimed at informing professionals in the field about the range of wines, new products and the quality of wines at the international market. "Catavinum World Wine&Spirits Competition 2013" seeks to enhance the potential for producing high-quality wine in Spain and improve the culture of consuming quality wine.
The 5 medals received at "Catavinum World Wine&Spirits Competition 2013" prove the invariably high quality of the wines produced by Bodegas Torrevellisca.
The crianza wines – Aurum de Zagromonte and Argentum de Zagromonte – have been honoured with awards for the second consecutive time. The new young red wine Embrujo was produced using the innovative technology of cold maceration that allows incredibly aromatic wines. The new red wine Embrujo, with unusual blending, was also awarded a silver medal. Another new product of our bodega – the aged wine Arquis Premium Seleccion – is a part of a joint charity project, carried out together with Bodegas Reina Victoria. This wine was honoured with its first international prize and was awarded a silver medal.
