1. Sustainable farming and minimal intervention is still the way to go
The grapes at our estates are grown with sustainable farming practices to ensure the longevity and quality of the soil and ecosystem. After the harvest, the production of the wines in the cellar is made with the greatest care and the least amount of intervention. This ensures a true and singular expression of our culture and terroir.
2. Vegan-friendly wines are trending
Vegan and vegetarian restaurants are popping up in plenty of places and the consumer is increasingly becoming attentive to manufacturing practices that lessen the use of animal derivatives whenever possible. Due to this, our fining process is made without any animal based products ensuring that all our wines are vegan-friendly.
3. Unique blends
The wine consumer is now searching for more interesting and lesser known grape varieties and blends. To this end, A&D Wines grows regional Portuguese grape varieties as well as more commonly known grape varieties with the purpose of making blends that offer a unique experience that set it apart from the majority.
