17 TRENTINO PRODUCERS WITH PLENTY TO OFFER: NEW PRODUCTS, NEW VINTAGES AND NEW LABELS

The Trentino region in northern Italy will once again be taking part this year in the PROWEIN trade fair held 4 - 6 March in Düsseldorf, on their new 400 sq. m. stand in pavilion 3/D30. 17 producers representing wine cellars, wine co-operatives and TRENTODOC sparkling wine and grappa producers will be presenting their flagship and new-entry products, for the very first time together, on the new collective stand in the area dedicated to Italy. The stand has been fitted out by „Trentino Sprint”.
NEW PRODUCTS BEING INTRODUCED BY THE TRENTODOC, WINE AND GRAPPA PRODUCERS IN PAVILION 3/D30
CANTINA DI ALDENO – will be introducing a Trentino Doc Pinot Nero and Trentino Doc Chardonnay made from organically grown grapes.
CANTINE MONFORT – will be presenting its restyled Trentodoc Brut range, which now includes a Trentodoc Brut Rosé made from 100% Pinot Nero grapes. For the first time Pinot Grigio Rosé Vigneti delle Dolomiti 2011 and San Lorenzo 2011 from St. Laurent grapes will also be on display.
CAVIT – sponsors the main FC Bayern Munich team in conjunction with Trentino Marketing – and will be introducing the new Norico Bianco IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti, a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. For the first time the Altemasi, range will be featuring Trentodoc Altemasi Rosé Metodo Classico made from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes. Since October 2011 Cavit’s Managing Director, Enrico Zanoni, has also been Chairman of the Trentodoc Institute.
DISTILLERIA BERTAGNOLLI – will be introducing 2 new organic grappas in Düsseldorf, one young and one aged in barrique, distilled from the must of organically-grown grapes grown on the Foradori estate in Trentino and Trabucchi d’Illasi property in Valpolicella.
DISTILLERIA F.LLI PISONI – will be focussing on its new red wine, Maso Gobbo 2011, a blend of Teroldego and Merlot grapes with no added sulphites, produced in collaboration with the Freewine.eu Group.
DISTILLERIA MARZADRO – Le 3 Espressioni is a new range of limited-edition grappas for which only 2,000 bottles of each type have been produced. Grappa Affina Premium comes in a wooden presentation box containing three 37.5 cl bottles; a grappa kit featuring various extras is also available specifically for the wholesale trade and for restaurants.
DORIGATI F.LLI – after graduating from Trento and Geisenheim in viticulture and oenology, Michele Dorigati joined the company management team alongside his cousin Paolo Dorigati to carry on the 154-year long company tradition. Teroldego Rotaliano and Trentodoc Methius are their flagship wines.
ENDRIZZI – Presentation of Gran Masetto 2007, which won a "Grand Gold" award at Mundus Vini 2011 attaining the highest score from amongst the 6,028 wines from 42 different countries entered. Visitors will also be able to find out about the new QR‐Code and the new web site.
FERRARI F.LLI LUNELLI – The Company is now in its third generation and will be celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. Maxi-sized Ferrari Maximum Rosé Magnum and Ferrari Maximum Brut Jeroboam bottles are available to meet market demand. Ferrari Brut was voted best Metodo Classico by the specialist wine magazine Weinwirtschaft, while Weinwelt magazine crowned the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 2001 the best Metodo Classico in the world (excluding Champagne).

GAIERHOF – The winery, now in its third generation, will be launching its Trentodoc Siris in Germany.

GRUPPO La‐Vis – The Group’s three wineries, La Vis, Cesarini Sforza Spumanti and Valle di Cembra will all be exhibiting at ProWein. Trentodoc Tridentum Extra Brut Riserva from Cesarini Sforza will be launched in Germany while La Vis will be presenting the new vintages of Nosiola, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio in their Simboli range.
PEDROTTI SPUMANTI – will be launching Trentodoc Pedrotti Bouquet in Germany.
PRAVIS – will be launching its Naran range on German soil, along with Erika Pedrini, the young winemaker who received the European ArtVinum Award in 2011 in Baden-Württemberg. Important to note that both the red and white grapes that go to make Solaris and Cortis wines come from vineyards that have not been chemically treated.
VILLA CORNIOLE – will be focussing its attention on the new vintage of its various ranges of typical Trentino wines.
ZANOTELLI WINES – this winery from Val di Cembra is taking part in ProWein for the first time with a selection of their Trentino wines.
ZENI – will also be at ProWein for the first time with TRENTODOC Maso Nero Riserva and Rosè. They will also be launching a novelty wine, Rossara, which bears the name of the grape variety.
